makes things for EE

A handful of really useful addons for your ExpressionEngine site. Everything's free, so dive in and see what's useful.

You'll find all of my public addons also available on github along with documentation. I use EE daily at my work and most of these addons were originally developed to fill specific client needs.

Any support or features requests should be sent to my email - [email protected], I'll get back to you in a jiffy, well maybe two little jiffys.

Friendly (1.2)

Timestamps can be your friend too

Date formatting has a long way to go. Sometime it’s just nicer to have it in plain English. 1 day, 2 weeks, a month, however you like it really. With some added options to make it all that bit more useful too.

Last Segment (1.1)

Get the most useful bit of your url

{segment_#} variables are great, but sometimes it’s good to be able to read the segments right to left instead. This extension adds a {last_segment} variable and {rsegment_#} variables too. EE 1.6.x and 2.x ready.

Get it

Shortlink (0.8)

May all your links be tiny.

A rather niche EE 1.6.x fieldtype. Great for automatically creating a shortlink via an external (and optionally) private service, and adding that data to the entry.

Get it

Breadcrumb (2.3)

Breadcrumbs the way they should be

Site breadcrumbs can be one of the most useful UI elements on a site, and keeping them consistent is key. Take all the stress out of managing them with this addon. EE 1.6.x and 2.x compatible.

Get it

Require Expiry (1.1)

Force your entry expiry

Need to force an entry to have an expiry date? Great for entries that need to span time periods but still use the native start/expiry date function. Currently 1.6.x compatible.
